even as a small girl i loved to create things. early on, my toys of choice were drawing implements, fabric and beads.
when my mom wasn't around i'd sneak into her sewing kit. i wasn't allowed to use the sewing machine but i managed to make dolls and doll clothes - and some interesting attempts at making clothes
for myself - by hand. i taught myself intarsia knitting and then learned to crochet in college.
i started fable because i enjoyed making things so much, i wanted to share that with crafty kindred spirits. |

i make sure this lady works hard and comes up with original, cool stuff. she can be quite lazy, and i have to poke her in the arm with an "H" crochet hook every now and then. she bruises easily, but it's worth it.
